A Large and Versatile Fleet Supporting Nationwide Operations
The Nippon Steel Logistics Group operates one of the largest controlled fleets in Japan, enabling flexible vessel deployment to ports nationwide.
Our fleet covers a wide range of vessel sizes—from 199 to 749 class—and includes various specialized configurations such as wood-lined and steel-lined holds, vessels equipped with centerpieces, and grab-equipped ships for bulk cargo.
With this diverse lineup, we are able to respond effectively to a broad spectrum of cargo types and transportation requirements.
Examples of Vessels in Our Fleet
Centerpiece
Single or double rows of centerpieces are installed along the bottom of the cargo hold, enabling secure lashing of cargo and allowing efficient loading of long-length items such as bridge components.
Gutt Vessel
Equipped with onboard grab cranes (“gutt” cranes), these vessels enable the handling of bulk cargo—such as soil and tire chips—even at ports without dedicated cargo-handling facilities.
